Re: FSO Financial Management reorganization
October 17, 2005
FSO-Financial Management would like to announce a reorganization of the Operating Funds Team as well as the creation of a new position.
Mike Treiber, Assistant Comptroller, will assume responsibility for directing the activities of the Operating and Non-Operating Funds with a goal of facilitating customer service and employee growth through cross training effective July 1, 2005. Mike is a Certified Public Accountant and previously was responsible for the Non-Operating Funds as well as developing the foundation for an FSO Compliance program.
Cindy Robison has been promoted to Accounting Manager for Operating Funds and will report to Mike effective July 1, 2005. Cindy will direct the activities of the General Operating, Designated and Auxiliary Funds with a goal of expanding the expertise of the individual Fund Accountants in all fund groups and with all University systems.
Floyd Roman, Assistant Comptroller, will assume the responsibility for implementing the FSO Compliance program effective Oct. 1, 2005. Floyd is a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and will be developing and implementing comprehensive compliance programs to address internal control and accountability while continuing to be the Audit Coordinator.
Please join me in congratulating Mike, Cindy and Floyd for accepting the new and challenging roles that this reorganization brings.
